Twas’ the night before Christmas, and through Papa’s house,
Every person was stirring, and running about.
Jillian was playing with her little toys,
And George was upstairs with the other young boys,
Where Lucas and Drew had their Christmas tree ‘swords’
They hid behind ‘pirate ships’ (or bunk-bed boards)
Ellie and Lilah are eating a snack,
Where’s Roman? He’s riding on Travis’ back!
Cameron, Melissa, and Miranda are having fun,
Cause’ Jessi’s fun dance makes them both laugh a ton!
Gracie and Gino are making a plan,
What are they doing? Too late, they just ran!
Near Cassidy, Maggie, and Peyton, too
Who are drawing Christmas pictures,
With red, green, and blue!
Gabriel and Harris are playing a game
Where they’re two crazy elves who both look the same!
Chase is behind them, singing a song,
To the tune of the Grinch with words purposely wrong!
Natalie and Heidi are a dog and a cat,
While Trisha is carrying them, one in the front, one on her back!
Brooke and TJ are chuckling when Gus looks lost,
Running by with a bow on his head- get that thing off!
Christian, Alison, and Maria are there,
Playing a Christmas Eve game of Musical Chairs
Jared and Ethan are thumb-wrestling in the hall,
Why are they doing so? You make the call!
Everyone decorates the living room’s tree,
Who’ll find the Christmas pickle; will it be you or me?
Everything was fun, we all know and agree;
We went to Church, opened gifts, and the angel’s on the tree!
The day ends when everyone’s in the back room,
Watching the Christmas Eve silent film,
Wait- how come it’s gotten so late this soon?
Now it’s time for everyone to drive back,
After everyone takes one last peek at SantaTrack
And the cousins all yell as they drive out of sight,
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
